"Staying at Cape Vermeer was a very special experience. Richard was an exceptional host with a genuine interest in our experience and comfort. The service level was outstanding and the breakfast was superb - yes superb. The breakfast basket was different everyday and the freshly cooked dishes were imaginative and delicious. This was a chance to experience a very special guesthouse were the attention to detail and cleanliness were great. The mattress comfort provided an excellent nights rest after a busy day in the winelands. The views over False Bay and the Heldeberg Mountain were splendid. Location provided opportunities to visit vineyards, golf courses and wonderful restaurants. A very special experience in comfortable guesthouse with exceptional high standards."

Absolute Highlight in SA
"Cape Vermeer was for us the absolute highlight of the places we stayed at during our SA trip. Richard is a one of a kind host: attentive, super friendly and he really takes care of you. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and the beds... simply amazing. And the breakfast! The best we had. Personalised to your wishes; with fantastic fresh bakes and delicious coffee. Richard helped us with restaurant recommendations and provided great information about on what to do around Somerset West."
